X-Men: Days of Future Past saw fantastic jump on its 1st Saturday. The film which had made 50 lacs from its paid previews on Thursday and 4.35 crores on its opening day made another 5.40 crores on its 1st Saturday at the domestic box office. The film so far rests at a total domestic collections of 10.25 crores from the India circuit.
As per the production house, the film is the year's second highest opening for a Hollywood film after Amazing Spiderman 2. The film's terrific response was taken well by the CEO of Fox Star Studios India, Vijay Singh who in a press statement elatedly said, "We are expecting a great weekend number. The film has got very positive word of mouth from audiences."

So far the response has been the best for this film which saw higher footfalls on its second day as compared to the first day. Staying ahead of stints like Avengers, Batman: The Dark Knight Rises and even The Avatar in collections so far, the film might set a new high notch at the box office in India by its collections.
